Multi piece construction, bronze gilt with red, green, white, blue and black enamels, maker marked "VM" (Vincent Mayer's Shne) and marked with a five pointed star denoting the award is constructed of bronze instead of gold, measuring 34. 7 (w) mm x 67. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, on a full length neck ribbon, missing its iron insert in the base crown, chipping evident in the green enamels on the wreath on
