L." and marked "STERLING" on the inside, 16 mm faceplate illustrating an enamelled European African Middle Eastern Campaign ribbon bar over a Purple Heart ribbon bar, inscribed "WORLD" above and "WAR II" below, five stars on either side of the ring flanking the faceplate, the ring measuring 25 mm in diameter, chipping evident on the conjoined enamelled ribbon bars, contact marks from active use,
